SelectCursor started when three founders saw the same problem repeatedly: Proptech and Fintech scale-ups needed senior engineers who understood their domain, but traditional hiring was too slow and agencies either lacked technical depth or charged opaque rates.

We built a boutique model where clients talk directly to founders — no account managers, no sales teams. Same people who vet engineers, scope projects, and stay involved throughout the engagement.
